Hellow! I am Miri (Mihriban). I am 25 years old. I started my ESC volunteering at Mladinski Center in Zagorje ob Savi! Anndd… I will share some things about my life – Let’s dive into my journey.
I studied in Language department at Highschool and currently, I am an Artist. I studied in Graphic Design and Animation Program at University also one year of Anthropology. I always have been a curious and an adventurous soul that wanted to learn and try/do everything, so that’s why I chose being an Artist, also Anthropology but it didn’t go well because of my economic situation at that time. Of course there are some other professions, as well, but I always loved drawing and I was so into learning about other cultures, people, animals, how we come here, why we are here… But Art was my dream job since I was a 12-year-old kid. And I worked so hard to be one, here I am, worked for Video Game companies, for Book Illustrations, prepared demos for TUBITAK about sustainability (Scientific and Techonological Research Council of Turkey) with kids to teach Animation and Art and that’s not it, I plan to do more for myself, I want to share my own stories, poems, arts with people, but also I want to improve myself for people who need help, who need others, and for my ESC Program, this is the best opportunity that I could Imagine for my dreams. I have a really good schedule to learn those things and also Improve my skills. From talking and spending time with kids and elderly people, to help teachers to teach art and animations to kids at the school, helping the organisation, spending time with adults – all of these feel like I am in a training and improving myself but in a playful way. And I feel so happy and thankful for this opportunity. As most of you I also had a challenging childhood, but I tried my best to be my best. I came here alone, fighting alone I know how it feels, and now I have many friends, people that I can call as my family, and for those who need help, I will do my best to be there for them, for people like me, I will fight for them, as well.
Let’s see what I love to do the most (As in Hobbies >w<)! Miri loves drawing (obviously hehe!), writing her own stories, creating worlds, talking to animals and plants, playing video games, listening music (metal and rock mostly, but I am open to listen to everything that has a good melody), learning about myth, concepts of other cultures, world and universe… Animals… Plants… Oh how I love learning about everything, but… I have a bit of a problem with learning new things sometimes, because I need to share what I learned freshly with the others and IT IS SOMETIMES SO TIRING!!! >__<! But yes also, helping people, spending time with people, reading books,riding a bike, crafting stuff for myself and learning how to do/craft by yourself stuff, playing chess sometimes, though I feel like I am retired! ╥_╥ I really love nature, night and gothic themed stuff! If you would ask me what goddess would you like to be that would be someone that protects animals, nature/plants, kids and also night time! Night is so good and I’m really in love with stars! My favorite movie is LOTR series. My favorite animation is How to Train Your Dragon series. Animes are Solo Levelling, Kyoukai no Kanata and Sword Art Online. Games are Diablo 3 and 4, Ori in the Blind Forest, Terraria, Clair Obscure: Expedition 33, Final Fantasy XIV and V Rising. Books are Hard-Boiled Wonderland and End of the World, Flowers to Algernon. Writers Edgar Allan Poe and Tolkien! I don’t have any favorite bands or songs… Because I really love many things! But for now I will share this ~ Elyndrax, Mikolai Stroinski – The Tree When We Sat Once.
