Time really flies. I cannot believe I have already been to the mid-term evaluation. I remember when I started my journey I didn‘t know what to expect, now I feel much more comfortable with the things I do. Let me tell you more about this month.
In the beginning of the month, I came back from Lithuania. There I celebrated the most beautiful holidays of the year. It was interesting to see my growth and how I fall in love with my native country, but I am happy of coming here back. A part of my heart belongs to Slovenia.
Together with other volunteers and co-workers from the youth center we spent one morning in the train station and were giving coffee and tea to all people who were travelling by train. It was so nice to see their smiles.

Our smiles after hot chocolate
What is more, I went ice-skating and… accidentally I felt down and I dislocated shoulder. It was so painful. Luckily, I was not alone. Juliane and Nina were there. They helped me to put my shoulder back to its place. The next day we just went to the doctors to see if my shoulder was in the right place. This accident means no sports for a while…

What was new?
I started to work in the kindergarten in Hrastnik. It is so hard to wake up in the morning early, but the energy which I get from kids fills in me fully. Look what I have got from the children.
And of course, a lot of dreaming about my future and what is next after ESC.
The month finished with a mid-term evaluation in Velenje. It was fun to see old and new faces. It was both fun and useful to see what we learnt and what can be done during in the next months.
I look forward to the new challenges and many more that may come in the coming months.
With love,
Guste
