December is a difficult month. So many things, events, work, and if someone gets sick… It‘s nothing good. December, for me, is a challenge to do everything on time. Yes, time really flies, but I enjoy my journey here. In the beginning it was hard, but now I am satisfied and really happy.
The month started with the Christmas Fair at the school where I work. As a MC volunteer, I had a workshop with my students.

Of course, how without Christmas decorations! One Thursday we decorated the youth center. Do you know that here, in Slovenia, not Santa Claus, but Saint Nicolas comes and leaves presents? Yes, it was a strange fact for me too. He comes at night on the 6th of December… Even I have got a gift!

In the end of the month, on the occasion of the holidays, I finally came home… It was fun to see my change, growth and how I fall in love with my native country. It has been interesting to see my different point of view to daily life situations. I am happy to have been able to share this with my gymnasium students. However, change is always happening, but it is more visible when you live abroad.
